Project Description

Engenium Group provided electrical engineering services to support the interior renovation of the Holton Arms School gymnasium, originally constructed in 1988. The renovation scope included the installation of new athletic equipment, the addition of interior window openings, and upgrades to finishes and flooring throughout the space.

To support these improvements, our team strategically leveraged the existing electrical infrastructure—extending new circuits and branch power distribution—to accommodate the following components:

  • Recessed and in-floor power/data receptacles for scorer’s tables
  • Power-operated bleachers
  • Wall-mounted scoreboards
  • Motorized backboards with integrated shot clocks
  • Electrically operated gym divider curtain
  • Replaced exit signage
  • Replaced fire alarm devices

Our thoughtful reuse of existing systems allowed for a cost-effective solution while meeting the updated functional and safety needs of the renovated facility.
