Engenium Group provided plumbing and fire suppression consulting services for the 440,000 SF modernization of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library in downtown Washington, DC. Reopening is set for September 2020.
Like many of you, our team has assimilated to a “new normal” and are working from home. As we continue providing best-in-class service at a distance, we want to share these tips and suggestions aimed to increase your productivity and overall experience at home.
Our team visited Penn State University to talk to members of the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE) about the delusion of indoor air quality. Engenium’s Brandon Harwick, Calvin Douglass and Zoha Memari had the opportunity to present valuable information to these students at their alma mater.
Attendees were from various engineering concentrations within the Architectural Engineering program at Penn State. And while Engenium’s presentation was more mechanical engineering-focused, there was something to take way for everyone and the students really enjoyed learning something new.
“It’s so important for students to see first-hand what we do out in the real world and to know this is what they can strive for in their career.” – Brandon Harwick
*A huge thank you to Penn State’s SSAE chapter for hosting us.
