Jake is a CTS-D certified AV and technology systems designer with deep, real-world experience. Before moving into consulting and design, Jake spent more than 20 years as an audio engineer and educator, an experience that shows up in his work through clear communication, calm leadership, and designs that prioritize what people actually hear, see, and experience in a space.
Outside of project work, Jake is a lifelong music lover and weekend hiker who values great experiences, strong teamwork, and designing systems that help people connect, communicate, and perform at their best.
Jake worked as an Audio Engineer for 20+ years before moving into the low voltage/technology design field. During that time, he was able to work with many of his musical heroes and other notable artists, and even earned a RIAA Gold Record Award for engineering a live recording for the Foo Fighters.
